The earth was much healtier and cleaner years ago. However, with the industrilization , environmental problems started to threaten the world. Whereveryou go, you see that pollution , deforestation, and global warming are among the most threatening environmental problems.
Pollution is a serious problem. Toxic substances, the hole in the ozone layer, and acid rain are threatening the world.
Deforestation is another problem. People are destroying them for different reasons such as land, housing and timber. One –fifth of people is in danger because the areas where these people live will become deserts in a short time.deforestation will damage the flora and fauna , and will cause erosion.
Global warming is the increase in the temperature of the Earth. The carbondioxide is responsible for that. Ice –caps are melting (ıt makes the sea level higher) because of the global warming. While thera are floods in some parts of the world, other parts are suffering from droughts and forest fires.
What can be done? Governments and individuals should spend great efforts so that overcome environmental problems.
